Pilates
Boutique reformer Pilates, shaped by the coast — one-on-one sessions, classical method, and the patience of tides.
The studio
Grand Strand Pilates is being built as a boutique studio — a reformer room built for eight, a quiet mat room, pale wood and soft light. Until the doors open wide, every session runs one-on-one: your instructor, your hour, your program.

The method
Joseph Pilates built his method on six principles. The practice moves through all of them — every time.
Every movement rides an inhale or an exhale — the tide the work moves with.
Attention on the body, fully. The mind leads and the muscle follows.
No swing, no momentum — strength that is chosen, not borrowed.
All movement begins at the center and flows outward.
One exact movement outweighs ten careless ones.
Movements link into sequence — strength in motion, not in poses.
The Strand
The Grand Strand runs some sixty miles, Little River to Georgetown. The studio takes its name, its palette, and its pace from this coast — a practice for the people who live where the land breathes in and out twice a day.
